La série Le Parc a été réalisée un mercredi de novembre dans le parc de Vincennes, à Paris. Durant une journée, dans un cadre figé, les visages défilent et l’arrière plan verdoyant évolue pour disparaître dans la nuit. L’espace urbain ne cesse de s’étendre, les espaces naturels laissent place au béton. Au coeur de nos villes, les parcs pourraient constituer les seuls souvenirs de ces paysages disparus. Loin d’une approche analytique, les photographies de la série Le Parc tendent à rappeler l’indéniable lien qui unit les Hommes à la nature.

The series Le parc took place one Wednesday in mid-November in the park of Vincennes, Paris. Throughout the day, in a static frame, the faces scroll by and the green backdrop evolves to disappear in the dark night. Urban space is constantly expanding, natural spaces are giving way to concrete. In the heart of our cities, the parks could be the only memories of these vanished landscapes. Far from an analytical approach, the photographs in the Le Parc series tend to recall the undeniable link that unites man with nature.
